Week 2 of our Older & Active Summer Club was another success! The group was able to get out and enjoy the lovely weather over the week and have their exercise classes and some activities outdoors on our 3G pitch.

The group had another Pub Quiz on Monday and a few rounds of Bingo on Tuesday, which were both big hits for both weeks!

Susan from The Pamper Zone was here on Wednesday and provided massages and manicures. While one group were enjoying some r & r, the others were going head to head in a board game tournament.

On Thursday, the group went to the Ulster Museum and Botanic Gardens. The weather was fantastic and we had a lovely few hours walking around the exhibitions, the gardens, and the tropical house.

Lunches each day were provided by Sams Grill and went down a treat every time!

We would like to note our appreciation for Belfast City Council Community Activity Medium Grant for the support provided to our Summer Schemes. Special thanks to our class co-ordinator Chris and centre manager Norman for their hard work. Finally, a massive thank you to our Older and Active group for their continued dedication!

Our Older and Active classes are now welcoming new members – if you or someone you know would like to get involved please contact us here, call Reception on 02890411970, or message us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for more information.
